I have loved taking photographs ever since I was a child.

 

This love stems from my father's love of cameras and photography and his persistence at documenting our childhood.

 

Photographs have become a huge part of my daily life, to capture moments, people and places on my adventures. I always have a camera at the ready for those unexpected events that stand out in the ordinariness of the day. Whether it's the rust on a lock, the clouds in the sky, or even the food on my plate, I see the world in frames.

 

In the past 18 years I have travelled around the world, always with a camera in tow. Photography for me, is a mixture of photo journalism and creative expression, it has allowed me to capture cultures & customs, food, scenery and lifestyle of some magnificent places.

 

For me, these images are my journal.

 

Colour, Texture, Light, Movement & Reflection are some of the elements that INSPIRE me. I especially love paying attention to different perspectives and it's this that also inspires, to be able to see the beauty in the unseen and sometimes unnoticed.

 

Being able to share these moments through my photographs with you is something that I am very grateful for.
